Fashion

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” ~ Coco Chanel

If you've attended any events sponsored by the Art Deco Society of California, you know that dressing up in deco style is part of the fun, and a preservation activity in its own right. Many of our members collect vintage fashion; others sew replicas, or study the grooming and etiquette of the era.

Below are tips on where to shop for all things Art Deco era -- the 1920s, 1930s, and early 1940s.

You can also purchase our "Dressing Deco" and "How to Gatsby" fashion booklets in the store!
